The new MET Manta MIPS is an outstanding example of MET's aesthetic and ultra-modern design. Inspired by the valuable knowledge gained from professional sport and the high demands of ambitious amateur athletes, the focus of this helmet is on four central aspects: Safety, aerodynamics, fit and style. Taking these elements into account, the design of the brand new Manta MIPS® is based on the natural geometry of its predecessor. It is just as brilliant as the original, but with even more striking looks and state-of-the-art performance. Thanks to its lower, tubular profile at the rear, which was optimized in special wind tunnel tests in the NEWTON laboratory in Milan, the Manta MIPS® is even more aerodynamic.

MIPS® technology
MIPS-C2® technology separates the shell and the liner with a thin plastic layer called the Low Friction Layer (LFL). This LFL, which is attached with four rubber elastomers, allows the helmet to float on the head and effectively dissipates the rotational forces from the head in the event of a fall.

Magnetic Fidlock® buckle
The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes fastening the helmet easier and faster. The function effectively reduces triathlon transition times.
